Stretch and Strength is a class that uses a variety of exercises based on Stretching, Yoga, Pilates, and dance warm-ups.
The main focus of the class is to improve your posture, balance, and coordination. The goal is to strengthen lengthen all muscles, particularly your core as these provide the support for all movement, balance, and posture, and are a must for a healthy back. Using your own body weight for resistance you will increase your strenght. Through various stretches this will also greatly increase your flexibility. Although many dancers use these specifically for cross- training purposes and maintaining their flexibility and strength, even if you are not a dancer, these exercises will improve your health and decrease your risk of injury in your day-to-day activities.

No Pre-requsites, beginners welcome!
What you need for class: Comfortable fitness wear and a yoga mat.
